2025 GBC Prep Stars tryouts will be held on August 20th at 10am at the following address.
Allen Jay Recreation Park
1073 E Springfield Rd
High Point NC.
The team is coached by Matt Dillon and Ben Fultz both GBC alumni and GBC instructors. The team will do off season training with Coach Carmine Pagano and his staff at Carolina Acceleration.
Matt’s extensive resume includes:
-4 year college starter
-The 2010 GTCC team MVP, All Region team
-2011 team MVP, All region team
-2012 Conference Pitcher of the Year
-1st team All Conference,All Region and All State
-2013 Conference Pitcher of the Year, -2013 Southeastern Regional Pitcher of the Year, 1st Team All Conference, All-Region, 2nd Team All-American,
-1 of 8 Finalist for National Division 2 Player of the Year.
Ben’s extensive resume includes:
-Playing for all GBC travel teams starting at 8 Years old.
-Played at Ragsdale HS 2007-2010
-All Conference 4 years in a row
-All Area 1st Team 2008-2010
-2009 Pre Season All American
-2009 Atlantic All Region 2nd Team
-2010 Pre Season Rawlings All American.
-4 year starter at East Carolina University 2011-2014
-2011 Conference USA All Freshmen Team
-2011 College Baseball Daily All Freshmen Team
-2 time All Region
-Played in Cape Cod League in 2012.
